Extended Care Programs

Georgetown Independent School District offers two programs that provide extended care opportunities for elementary and middle school students. The Extended School Enrichment Program operates on elementary campuses, and the After School Action Program provides after-school activites at middle school campuses.

In addition, the district provides a child development center that offers daycare during the school year for the children of GISD employees and students. The Eagle Wings Child Development Center is an NAEYC accredited program that provides an early childhood curriculum for children ages 0-4.
