SIPRIANA (CHIP) RICHARTE
February 8, 1942 - February 19, 1991

Chip Richarte
graduated from Georgetown High School on University Avenue in 1962. In 1972, she
received an Associate degree from Central Texas College in Killeen and became a
registered nurse. Chip worked at Shoal Creek Hospital from 1973 to 1975. She
then spent a year in family planning before she went to Georgetown Hospital
where she worked for four years. In 1980, Chip went to work for Georgetown
Independent School District. She spent 11 years as the Nurse at Northside (later
Raye McCoy) Elementary School until her untimely death.
Throughout her years of service with the district, Chip exhibited
unwavering concern for the students she served, parents, and her co-workers. She
truly made a positive difference in the lives of all who had the privilege to
know and work with her.
