"My Life" is designed to demonstrate how lifestyle choices affect career choice. The students will plan to live on their own right after completing high school.  They will first select an apartment to rent. Next, they will calculate all of their monthly expenses including rent, car payment, car maintenance, gasoline, insurance, utilities, groceries, clothes and finally entertainment.  After all monthly bills are totaled, students will determine the wages needed to support their choices.  Completion of this activity will motivate students to explore careers and determine which occupations will support their lifestyle.
