GISD Web Awards 2007-2008
Congratulations
to the 156 teachers and staff who have earned GISD's 2007-2008 Web
Award. The award was created
to recognize teachers and staff with outstanding websites that
serve as online information and learning resources for students and
parents.
The 2007-2008 Web Award graphics were designed by Class of 2009
Georgetown High School student Harrison McLain. Harrison, along with
seventeen other GHS students enrolled in Spring 2008 technology classes,
entered a contest sponsored by the technology department. He is pictured at
right receiving his award. With him are GHS webmastering teacher Kathryn
Cuddy and GISD instructional technology specialist Sandy Kendell. We congratulate
Harrison on winning the design contest!
