Terri Space has been the principal of Annie Purl Elementary since the spring of 2011. She holds a bachelor of science in elementary education from Southwestern University and a master's in educational administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Mrs. Space has come full circle in her educational career in Georgetown. She began as an art teacher at Purl and now proudly serves as principal of Annie Purl Elementary. During her years in education, Mrs. Space has taught kindergarten through 8th grade as classroom, language arts, and art teacher. She found each grade she was teaching to be her "favorite.” Mrs. Space strives to live by Annie Purl’s motto that “Laughing and Learning Go Hand in Hand.” Mrs. Space also served as the assistant principal at Purl prior to becoming principal.
Mrs. Space lives in Georgetown with her husband Bob, Purchasing Agent for Williamson County. They have three children Carisa, Robby, and Amy; all graduates of Georgetown schools. Two grandchildren round out the family. Mrs. Space enjoys reading, painting, music and traveling. She hopes to eventually visit all fifty of our United States.
