Spanish I & II - 7th & 8th Grade

In these classes, the students will role-play a home stay to a Spanish speaking country. In Spanish I, the students will prepare for their trip, learning vocabulary including personal information, clothing & colors, and favorite activities. In Spanish II, the students will arrive at their destinations, learning vocabulary referring to city life, school and home. Each class is 18 weeks. These classes are not for high school credit.

Introduction to Languages - 6th Grade

In the Introduction to Languages course, the student will be exposed to Latin, French, Spanish and German in order to make informed choices about which language to pursue in High School. This is an 18 week course.

EXPECTATIONS

	BE PROMPT: Be seated and ready to begin work at the appropriate time.
	BE PREPARED: Bring to class everyday your book, notes, paper, pen and dry erase marker.
	BE POLITE: Be quiet and treat others as you would wish to be treated.
	BE PRODUCTIVE: Do your work and turn it in on time.

Another interesting site is Quia!. It is an educational site that contains flashcards and games in different languages as well as other subjects.
