Important Information:

bulletOne Semester Course - Worth Half of a Credit on High School GPA
bulletBusiness Link Volunteers - High volume of parent volunteers needed for end of semester one-day job shadowing event called "Business Link".  Parents will be needed to help transport 2 to 4 students to a business and stay with them as a chaperone throughout the day.  Designated businesses will  have business link activities lined up for students.  Business Link is a FUN and PRICELESS learning experience to the Career Connections students at the end of the semester.
bulletSpeaker Volunteers - Just one of the ways students learn to explore a variety of careers is through class speakers.  Parents will be asked to volunteer to speak about their jobs.  This is a wonderful way for students to learn first hand about necessary skills, salary "ranges", educational requirements, and work place information (hours, dealing with stress, employability skills), etc...
