Welcome to my home page! I am an 8th Grade Pre-AP Language Arts teacher at Tippit
Middle School, the 8th Grade Team Leader, and campus SAIL Co-Coordinator.

Teaching Background:
- This is my fourteenth year teaching and my fourth year to teach in the Georgetown district.
- I have previously taught self-contained fifth grade in Oklahoma,
5th-8th grade social studies on the King Ranch in Kingsville, K-5th
talented and gifted in Round Rock, sixth grade language arts
at Tippit, and now eighth grade language arts here at Tippit.
- My teaching specializations include Elementary Education, Mid-Level
English, and Gifted and Talented.

Tips for helping your child at home:
- Check your child's daily planner to make sure that homework assignments
are being written down.
- Check your child's take home folder on Thursdays for student and school
papers sent home from school.
- Encourage your child to read at home!!
