  Welcome Back to School!!!

 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hi, there!  My name is Ronnie Maxwell, and I have the honor of teaching your child this year.  As the school year begins, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and give you a preview of what we will be doing this year. First of all, I am so excited to start a new year back in GISD at Tippit Middle School.  This will be my 7th year teaching at Tippit.  I taught 8th grade my first year here and then moved to 7th grade. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002.  I majored in elementary education with certification in grades 1-8.  In the past several years, I have furthered my education with yearly workshops to add more tools to my tool bag. I know how dear your child is to you and that you want the best for him/her.  I will strive to be the best teacher I can for your child.  If at any time you ever have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.  I check my voicemail at least once daily and my e-mail before or after school and during my lunch or conference periods.  I will return any calls/e-mails as soon as possible.
