GT and Pre-AP Current Events Articles

The Pre-AP Current Events Article assignment challenges Pre-AP students to explore what is happening in the world today.  Students are required to locate one article, read it thoroughly, complete a brief summary sheet, and present their article to the class.  The article has to be from a newspaper or major online source and must involve a country other than the United States.  Articles must not be primarily about the Iraq war or bombing in Afghanistan.  More information about the project will be available when it is assigned to the students.
