8th Grade Math - Angie Worley

Welcome to my home page!  I am an 8th grade mathematics teacher at Tippit Middle School. I taught 6th grade math at Tippit for four years and am returning after teaching in other districts for the past two years. I am very excited to be returning!

This year, our class will be using a high interest, problem solving based approach to learning mathematics. This approach will allow for a much deeper understanding of the math concepts that are studied.  My hope and belief is that negative attitudes towards math will become positive ones.   I look forward to a challenging yet rewarding year!

Education & Teaching Background:

• Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Austin College
• 17 years experience in Georgetown
• 24 years experience overall
