Coach Doug Mjos- Coach Mjos has been teaching/coaching for 25 years and 17 years at Tippit Middle School. He has taught at Bastrop, Pflugerville, and Goldthwaite previously before coming to Tippit. He has a degree from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Doug has a wife, 2 daughters and 1 son. He coaches football and track and is the boys' Athletic Coordinator.
Coach Darrell Burris- Coach Burris has been teaching and coaching for 30 years total. He has coached in Georgetown for 12 and he has been at Tippit for 7 years. Coach Burris has a degree from Arkansas State University. He has a wife, a son and a daughter. He coaches cross-country and track.
Coach Mike Canfield- Coach Canfield has a wealth of experience from other schools before coming to Georgetown. He has taught and coached for 33 years and 7 has been at Tippit Middle School. He received his degree from Western Michigan University. Mike has a wife and 1 son. He coaches football and track.
Coach Rob Hines- Coach Hines also brings a lot of experience as a teacher and a coach. He is originally from Oklahoma and he has taught and coached for 9 years at Tippit. He has a degree from Southwestern Oklahoma University. Coach Hines is the boys' and girls' 7th and 8th grade tennis coach.
Coach Socha has been teaching/coaching for 8 years and this is his 1st year at Tippit Middle School. He has taught at Red Oak, Copperas Cove, Round Rock, and Leander previously before coming to Tippit. He has a degree from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Matt has a wife, Lisa. He coaches football, basketball, and track.
