Welcome to the Tippit Library! Our growing collection currently includes 13,000+ titles, including audiobooks and educational videos. The library also subscribes to 40 professional and special interest periodicals, including Boys' Life, Girls' Life, Kids Discover, LaTeen, Newsweek, Odyssey, Science Scope, Sports Illustrated, and Texas Highways.
Access to a variety of electronic resources is available through the library's website. These resources include Britannica Online School Edition, World Book Online, Marshall Cavendish's Peoples of Europe and Growing Up with Science, and EBSCO, which features full text periodicals and more. In addition, Nettrekker d.i., a premium, educational search engine, is available as a recommended alternative to 'Googling.'
Access to the collections of the GISD libraries and the Georgetown Public Library is also available to students and staff through interlibrary loan services.
