HOWDY! My name is Stacy Glenn.  My husband, John and I have lived in Georgetown for the last 13 years.  We have two children, Tanner and Haley.  They attend Village Elementary and are going into the 5th and 3rd grades.  We have two dogs, Cinnamon and Boomer (Go Sooners!), a cat named Callie, also known as PB and a guinea pig, named Teddy.  Teddy lives in my classroom during the school year.  As a family, we love football.  Even though we have been Texans for 13 years, we are still Oklahoma Sooner football fans.  If it is any consolation, we do enjoy UT basketball.

Teaching is my passion!  This is my second year teaching for GISD and I have been at Village both years.  Before I started teaching at Village, I was a stay at home mom.  But, somehow I was never at home.  I started a Mother's Day out program at a local church where I was the director and a teacher, taught Sunday School and volunteered for the PTA (a lot!).  Once both of my children were in school, I began to realize how much I enjoyed teaching and was itching to get back at it...so here I am.  I am so excited about this school year and getting to know each of you.  Please know that my classroom has an  open door.  Feel free to drop by any time.
