My name is Jeana Rainey and I am a 3rd Grade Teacher at a terrific school called Village Elementary.

Education & Teaching Background

I was born a Texas, but grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma and returned to Clifton, Texas to finish high school.  My college years were spent at Baylor University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Education.  Throughout my sixteen years with the Georgetown District, I have taught Kindergarten, First and Third Grade and have been an Itinerant Gifted/Talented Teacher for four elementary campuses in the district.

My Family

I have two great kids and a wonderful husband.  My son, Chad, graduated from Baylor and is working in the Dallas area.  He and his girlfriend have recently become newlyweds.  My daughter, Sheridan, just graduated from Baylor and is excited to be a second grade teacher in Mesquite, Texas. A cocker spaniel dog named Maggie is also a part of our family. We are big supporters of the Georgetown Eagles and Baylor Athletics Programs.

Living on a one-acre pond, we enjoy feeding the White Pekins, Mallards, Wood Ducks, and a Blue Heron that visits quite frequently.
