Jennifer Rae Haselhuhn Cothrin I was born on July 11, 1979 in Sioux Falls, SD. Being raised a preachers daughter in Michigan, I am traditionally conservative...with a little spice & soul added via Texas. I came to Texas - "God's Country", as I like to refer to it now - to attend Arlington Baptist College. While there I received a Bachelor of Science in Education (EC-4) & one in General Studies as well, both double majoring in Bible. I began my teaching career in Grand Prairie, Texas in 2003 & moved to Arlington ISD in 2006. June of 2006 came along &...in the middle of an ordinary life, God gave me the fairytale & I married my best friend & love of my life - Kevin Wayne Cothrin.
Just a year & a week later our little bug was born - Isaiah Hayden. He's the cutest little wiggling & giggling bug in the world, although I might be a bit biased (wink, wink).
Just two weeks after Isaiah joined us, Kevin's work transferred us to Austin. We'll be growing our family by two more sweet little GIRL feet this coming Good Friday of 2010. We're thrilled! Not by accident, just 7 short weeks after we were transferred here, I was added to the most amazing school in the world! Last year was my second year at Village & in GISD with many, MANY to come I hope! This will be my seventh year teaching but, being part of the Village family, I'm as giddy as I was my first year to start! I cannot WAIT to buzz around & help your little bugs grow!
