Kelly Kresser, Village Elementary Counselor


 
 
Welcome to my web page!  I am Kelly Kresser, the counselor at Village Elementary.  This is my fourth year at Village.  I am committed to assisting in my role as the school counselor, and I truly enjoy working with the students, parents and staff.

 
Education, Teaching and Counseling Background:
  • Bachelor of Science in Education, McMurry College, Abilene, TX, received in 1987.
  • Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance, Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos, TX, received in 1993.
  • Professional Counselor License from The Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors received in 1995.
  • Five years of teaching experience in Royse City ISD and Manor ISD.
  • Sixteen years of school counseling experience in Del Valle ISD, Round Rock ISD, and Georgetown ISD.

Personal Information:

  •  I have been married to Steve Kresser for fourteen years and we have a son, Kristopher (Kris), who is a fifth grade student at Village.
  • Our family has five pets, a cat named Sky, a Cairn Terrier named Pistol, two donkeys, Domingo and Bonita, and a guinea pig named Miss Sniffles.
  • I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, taking trips, camping, and snow skiing.
