About me...
I am 34 years old (almost 35!) and live with my wonderful husband, Chris, and our three fur-babies (dogs). Their names are Haley (dachshund), Harley (miniature pinscher), and Chula (chihuahua). I was born in Wisconsin, but have also live in Arizona and California. I moved to Texas when I was eleven and grew up in Austin, but now I call Pflugerville home. Chris and I do not have any children yet, but we hope to start a family in the next year.

My family means a lot to me. I am the oldest of four children. My sister, Erin, lives in Austin, but my two brothers, Mike and Dan, live in Wisconsin along with the rest of my family. I don't get to see them as often as I'd like, but they do like visiting me in Texas to escape the cold!

As you can probably guess, I am a huge animal lover. I love all animals, especially dogs. I volunteered for two years at the Austin Humane Society. Last summer I volunteered at the Austin Wildlife Rescue Center where I helped care for all kinds of wildlife including raccoons, skunks, possums, deer, rabbits, squirrels, and many species of birds. I wasn't able to do that this summer as I was busy teaching summer school, selling our house and moving! I also like to read, travel, spend time with my family and friends, work out, do Sudoku puzzles, and snow-ski. And let's not forget my favorite thing...CHOCOLATE!!

I love working with kids and helping them to learn and grow. I know we are going to have an exciting and successful year!
