The mission of the George Washington Carver Elementary Library is to be the instructional hub of the learning community in a way that meets all users' needs so that students become dedicated readers, lifelong learners, and effective communicators of information.

Library Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Students are encouraged to come in before school starts at 8 a.m. to return books and check out new ones.

A little bit about me:
I have 24 years teaching experience in Georgetown ISD at Carver Elementary: nine years teaching third grade, ten years teaching second grade, and five years in the library. Since I love both children and books, the library is the perfect place! My five children were also Carver students . . . I can honestly say that Carver kids are the BEST!
My education:
B.A., Latin American Studies, The University of Texas at Austin, 1974
