Our classroom is always a lively place, full of brain-friendly activities. The students learn to be caring, cooperative and charitable toward all. I hope to communicate to my students how much I value them by providing many opportunities throughout the day for their various learning styles. We try to foster a love for learning that will last a lifetime. And, as always, our motto remains: Annie Purl...Where Laughter and Learning Go Hand in Hand!
This year our class will be learning to make connections to:
- Our home, community, state and nation through personal experiences
- Science concepts through hands-on experiences
- Reading and writing through modeled instruction, guided and independent practice
- Math using our 2008-09 math adoption - Think Math! along with higher level problem solving
