Welcome, to the Cooper Den homepage. My name is Mary Ellen Brown. This is my third year at Pat Cooper Elementary. This will be my 21th year in GISD. I have been in Special Education all twenty-one years. I am looking forward to the 2008-2009 school year.
My dog, Kate, a rather large chocolate lab will be coming back to school. She is a very good listener and loves to be read to. I also have three other animal friends that will be joining Kate. Jack, the rabbit (also brown) will be returning. And, Tex and Rex the red slider turtles will also be with us.
Everyone will be learning and growing to their individual potential.

There are two paraprofessionals that have joined the Cooper Den.
They are Robin Diaz and Ric Boyd. We are very fortunate that they have joined our team here at Cooper.
