Mrs. Cathy Hord
is the Assistant Principal at Carver Elementary.

I am beginning my fifth year as assistant principal here at Carver.  I love my job!  I was a classroom teacher for 27 years, mostly in third grade here in GISD.  My husband, Billy, taught agriculture science at Georgetown High School for 27 years before retiring in December, 2007.  He now works for the Texas Department of Agriculture.  Our son, Travis, graduated from GHS in 2003 and attended Texas State University in San Marcos.  He recently married Nicole, my beautiful, sweet daughter-in-law.  They live in San Marcos with my grand-dog, Gonzo. 

Billy and I live in Georgetown with our three spoiled cats, Lacy, Sister, and Socks.  In my spare time, I like to travel, read, scrapbook, and collect Hallmark Christmas ornaments.
