GISD has implemented Parent Connect. This allows parent(s) to review each child's grades on-line. This is an excellent tool for parents to see results on current tests and assignments (home work and class work).
Available as of 9/22/08
Home work grades can be assessed as follows;
0-- Home work was not turned in or was turned in after three days
9-- Home work was late one day
8-- Home work was late two days
7-- Home work was late three days
5-- Home work was turned in without showing steps or work was incomplete.
A 0 and a 5 will result in lunch detention to correct the problem.
