Education:
* Associate of Science Degree -- The Victoria College
* Bachelor of Arts Degree in English -- The University of Houston-Victoria
* I hold a Texas Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education (6-12)
Experience: This is my 15th year teaching!!!
* Current -- This is my fifth year at the Ninth Grade Campus.
* I have seven years teaching experience at the eighth grade level
(Pflugerville ISD) where I taught regular and Pre-AP English/Language Arts.
* I have three years teaching experience at the sixth grade level (Victoria ISD) where I taught regular and Gifted and Talented English.
Other:
* I have over 250 hours of gifted and talented and Pre-Advanced Placement training.
* In the summer of 2005, I attended the Pre-AP Institute at the University of Texas.
Tutorials: I am available every morning from 8:10- 8:50 a.m. for students needing tutorials or quiz/test make-up. I am also available Monday through Thursday after school for tutorials or makeup quizzes/tests. There is a "LATE" bus for students who stay after school for tutorials and need a ride home. The bus departs at 4:35 p.m. Monday thru Thursday.
