Contact Information:In the year ahead your child can look forward to exploring and comparing the artwork of various famous artists. This will give a better understanding of art history and culture.
Does your child like to paint, draw, or work with clay or collage? Students will express their ideas, sharpen their skills and develop a sense of pride in ownership as they use a variety of media in their original artwork.
While they're having fun they'll learn more about lines, shapes, colors and other elements and principles of art as well.
Watch for artists' birthdays and for your own child's artwork displayed in the Purl hallways. An art portfolio containing each student's work will be sent home at the school year's end.
