We are going on a fieldtrip to the Austin Steam Engine in Cedar Park on Thursday, November 12^th.  The bus will leave our school by 9:15 a.m. and arrive at the station by 9:30 a.m.  We will take a tour of the train cars starting with the oldest and working our way to the fanciest cars.  The tour will last one and a half hours.  For more information the train website is www.austinsteamtrain.org Parents are not allowed to travel on the bus, so if you attend, you will need to take your car and meet us at the station:  401 E. Whitestone Blvd. in Cedar Park.    Reminder: Parent volunteers need to have a background check completed in order to attend any fieldtrip.

We will leave the station no later than 11:30 a.m. and come back to school for a picnic lunch in our classroom.  Children will need to bring a lunch and a drink since we will not be going to the cafeteria that day.  Also, please make sure your child is wearing comfortable walking shoes.
