Hi!  My name is Barbara Tucker, and I am the new Music Teacher at McCoy Elementary.

 

     I earned my Music Degree from The University of Texas at Austin. so I am a true LONGHORN.  I have two grown children.  My daughter is a 5th grade science teacher in another school district, and my son is a lawyer in Houston.  

 

     Besides music my hobbies are:  shopping for antiques; watching movies; reading; and traveling.  I have traveled to England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy and Austria.  I have even walked in the steps of Mozart and Beethoven.

 

     I am really excited about teaching music here at McCoy Elementary and getting to know every one of my music scholars.
