Welcome to our home page! My name is Jennifer Van Curan. I am a 3rd grade teacher at Williams Elementary. I have been teaching for the past twelve years in private and public school settings within New York and Texas. This is my third year here at Williams Elementary. I am originally from the Western New York area where my parents, brother and extended family still reside. My husband and I moved to Texas 6 years ago because we were tired of cold winters and needed a change. We originally moved to Killeen, TX to be closer to my husband's family. I am real glad that we did! But, we soon realized that Killeen wasn't the environment for us to raise our children. So in Spring of 2005 we moved to Georgetown, TX with our 3 beautiful children. My daughter attends Williams Elementary and will be in the 4th grade. My oldest son will attend Annie Purl as a 2nd grader, our sister school here in Georgetown, TX. My youngest will attend Pre K at Purl also. We have 2 puppies that keep us very busy as well. We are all actively involved in extra curricular activities. Our oldest son plays baseball on the Georgetown Youth League, our daughter is actively involved with Girl Scouts and dances at Performing Arts , and our youngest son began soccer this year.
