2020 Graduation

Recent guidelines from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) now allow for outdoor graduation ceremonies.  With this news, our high school principals revised plans and we’re excited to be hosting in-person graduation ceremonies for our seniors at Birkelbach Field on the following dates:

    Friday, May 29
    Richarte High School
    8 pm

    Saturday, May 30
    East View High School

    Sunday, May 31
    Georgetown High School

Because of social distancing, we are limiting the number of guests attending the event, and safety measures will be in place that include verbal wellness screenings and temperature checks. For those who are unable to join us that day, we’ll be live streaming the event. See above for Live Stream URLs.

We are excited to be able to come together and honor seniors in this way. Yet, we recognize that permission to hold an in-person ceremony is subject to change as underlying public health conditions that impact local and state orders develop.

High school principals are updating senior families with specific details on graduation ceremonies.

    Friday, May 29

Three high schools will come together for one united Graduation Parade on Friday, May 29 at 9 am. The event will run through downtown Georgetown, past the courthouse. Download the parade route

Seniors and senior parents should reference their email for instruction on how to register for the parade.

    LIVE STREAM the parade event:

Individual campuses are planning cap & gown distribution and a plan for diplomas. Seniors received details from their campus principal.
