The library has a Makerspace with a 3D printer, sewing machine, green screen, robots, VR headsest, an electronics kit and more. Finished with your work or have an off period? Come on in and create.
GISD students who live outside the Georgetown city limits can show their student ID badge at the Georgetown Public Library for a free, GPL library card. However, you will not be able to use the public library's electronic books, unless you pay a $25 fee.
Do you have suggestions for improving our library? E-mail them to Ms. Cooper at coopers@georgetownisd.org.
Need to complete some work at school? We have computers and a printer! The first five black and white prints are free, then they're $.10 each. Color copies are $.25 each.
We also have some textbooks for use in the library.

Georgetown High School Library
2211 N. Austin Avenue
Georgetown, TX 78626Hours: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Librarian: Ms. Susan Cooper
It was about a ten-year journey that led me here, but I persevered and am thrilled to be your librarian. I want your library to be a relaxing, yet interactive, space. I love spending time with my son, books, movies and my animal companions. My favorite genres are fantasy and sci-fi, but I like a good non-fiction book, as well, especially biographies and autobiographies.Phone: 512-943-5103
