Degrees and Certifications:
A little about me: I joined Georgetown ISD in 2010 after retiring from the U.S. Army with 20 years of service. My duties and responsibilities were that of a Human Resource Manager, including a two year commitment as the Assistant Inspector General for the BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). But now I get the privilege and opportunity in continuing my service to our community by teaching Language Arts and Social Studies.
Education: I attended Rollins College, Florida (Majored in History with a Minor in Education) ESL Certified, GT Certified, and Early Childhood to 6th Grade Certified.
Personal: Hometown Philadelphia. #FLYEAGLESFLY. Yes, we won the Super Bowl! But don't worry, my wife's family are all Cowboy fans. I enjoy traveling and have been able to live in or visit at least 23 countries.
Served two tours (1990-91 Desert Storm Saudi Arabia, 2009 Baghdad, Iraq)
Humanitarian trips: I've often thought to myself, "What's the purpose of having, if you can't give."
