Mrs. Patricia Harrison
Hello and welcome to 5th grade Math and Science! I also teach Pathway 2 Math! My name is Patricia Harrison and I am so thrilled to begin my fourth and a half year of teaching!
I began my teaching career in 2nd grade at Purl and then went to Williams to teach 5th grade. Now that Purl has combined all grade levels, I'm back!
Fifth grade is a crucial year in your child's education. I work hard to create a warm, safe, and engaging community of learning in my classroom that inspires my students to become lifelong learners. Communication and collaboration between parents and teachers is a key component in your child's success. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, comments, or concerns throughout the year. Let's work together to ensure your child has a happy and successful fifth grade year!
I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in December of 2015. Go CRU! My husband and I have a beautiful little girl named Marley that will be one in September! Some of my favorite things are music, family, sweet tea, Starbucks, Target, traveling, any color with glitter and the DALLAS COWBOYS!

Pathway Math Information
This math handbook has great information including Pathway 2 information. Pathway 2 is an accelerated math program here at GISD. The handbook has a great side-by-side showing the differences of Pathway 1, 2 and 3. Because it is accelerated and essentially 2 years of math in 1, it may take most students time to adjust.
