I am entering my 18th year as an educator. I started teaching in California and have spent the past five years in Texas. I have experience across all grade levels and have trained teachers in the past. I love inspiring little minds and thrive on student growth. I love teaching and have never imagined doing anything else. In 2020, I stepped out of the classroom to begin a new position as LDC. As Cooper's Learning Design Coach, my goal is to make an impact on all Cooper students. With parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff working together, all Cooper students will feel successful and show academic growth this year.
In 2004, my first year of teaching, I also married my husband, Chad Rogers. We have two children, Aiden, 14, and Makenzie, 13. We are a baseball family. Go Dodgers! (We love the Astros, too...when they aren't playing our Dodgers.) Outside of school, I spend most of my time watching my kids practice and play baseball and softball. This year we add cross country and volleyball to the mix. When I have time, I do love to craft and bake as well.
