Computer Science Education Week & Hour of Code
-
December 3-9, 2018 is Computer Science Education Week! Computer Science Education Week is observed every year in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper.
To celebrate Computer Science Education Week, Georgetown ISD is participating in an Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify “coding”, programming, and Computer Science, and show that anyone can learn the basics to be a programmer, creator, and innovator!
