Degrees and Certifications:
Hello! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!
This will be my 5th year teaching at Frost Elementary. I taught 2nd grade for 3 years and this will be my 2nd year teaching 5th grade Science and Social Studies. I have learned from some of the best educators in GISD and they are all right here at Frost. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and I am certified to teach Kindergarten – 6th grade as well as ESL and GT. I have a supportive and innovative team this year and we will be introducing your children to some really fun and exciting curriculum with a focus on student engagement and integrating technology across all content areas!
My husband, Mr. Marsh, is the Chief of Police in Florence and we have three wonderful children. My son Lane will be a senior at GHS, my son Landen will be a freshman at GHS, and my daughter Lexi will be a 6th grader at Benold Middle School! I am also a proud graduate of Georgetown High School. #EFND
My hopes for this year is to build a strong family culture in our classroom where all of my students feel safe, loved, and inspired to learn something new every day. I believe that communication between parents and teachers is the key to helping your scholar become a successful learner. If you ever have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask! You can call or email me anytime of the day and I will get back with you as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for trusting me with your most precious gifts.
