Mrs. Kayleigh Sedwick

Welcome to Carver Elementary home of the Carver Colts!

Hello! My name is Kayleigh Sedwick ♥ I cannot wait to teach and get to know your little learner! ♥

A little about me...

In 1999, I moved with my parents to Georgetown where I attended Benold, Forbes, and Georgetown High School. I graduated in 2006. My journey as a teacher began at Texas State University Round Rock campus. During our student teaching phase, I came here to Carver. I student taught in kindergarten during the 2015-2016 school year and LOVED it! A day before graduation I was blessed with the opportunity to stay at Carver! I happily accepted the pre-k position offered, and have been teaching here since 2016.♥ I graduated from Texas State with honors on May 12th, 2016. And hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education EC-6th grade along with a certification in English as a second language.

My husband, Prince and I have been married since March 2017. He attended GISD schools and graduated from GHS (where we met). We have one fur baby ♥ a Black Ghost Tabby cat that we fostered October 2018 (he was a month old). We wanted to do nothing more than adopt him, and we did!♥ His name is Gomez Addams Sedwick. He is VERY spoiled and we love him very much!

I hope that you and your student have a positive experience here at Carver it is truly a special place! I look forward to meeting, and connecting with you!
