Mrs. LaSelva

    Welcome to Math Intervention!

My name is Neisa LaSelva and I feel extremely privileged to work with your children at Carver this year! This is my 13th year in education, 7th here at Carver. My husband and I live in the community with our sixth and seventh grade girls, who are former Carver Colts. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in math.

It is my philosophy that ALL children can learn math; it is our job as educators to find out HOW your child learns. In my classroom, we are mathematicians who ask questions and learn from our mistakes. Please don't hesitate to email me if you have any information that will help us help your child, or just have questions in general. I'm looking forward to meeting with your child in small group this year.

It's going to be an awesome year at Carver!!

In math Intervention, we use a program called Do The Math to close foundational mathematical gaps to help make grade level skills more attainable.
