Hola y bienvenidos a tercer grado!

Mi nombre es Jenny Rosen y estoy muy emocionada para ser la maestra de lenguaje dual de su hijo/a. Este año es mi cuarto año en Georgetown y estoy muy orgullosa de ser una parte de esta comunidad. Enseñé por 7 años en el distrito de Austin y este año serà mi undécimo año como maestra.

Soy de Houston, pero he vivido en Londres, México, y Costa Rica. Me graduè de La Universidad de Texas con una licenciatura en estudios latinoamericanos y recibí mi certificación en enseñanza de Region 13 en educación bilingüe PK-6.

Me encantan los deportes, viajar, y pasar tiempo con mi familia, mis amigos, y mi perrito Ceasar!

Espero que este año seá un año maravilloso en el tercer grado a Carver y tengo muchas ganas de trabajar con los estudiantes!

Hello and welcome to third grade!

My name is Jenny Rosen and I am very excited to be your child's Dual Language teacher. This is my fourth year in Georgetown and I feel very proud to be a part of the community. I taught for 7 years in Austin ISD, and this will be my eleventh year of teaching.

I am originally from Houston, but I have lived in London, Mexico, and Costa Rica. I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Latin American Studies, and I received my teaching certification in bilingual education, PK-6, from Region 13.

I love sports, traveling, and spending time with my family, friends, and my dog Ceasar!

I hope that this will be a wonderful year in third grade at Carver, and I am looking forward to working with the students!
