Jennifer Frank - 8th Social Studies

  • Jennifer Frank

Welcome to Ms. Frank's 8th Grade U.S. History Class! This is my 5th year of teaching and my 3rd year at Wagner Middle School.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. I also hold a Masters of Science in Legal Studies from Kaplan University. In May 2021, I will be graduating from Lamar University with a Masters in Educaton with Principal Certification.

This year I am most excited to expand self-paced and personalized learning at Wagner. In Social Studies, I am most excited to help students find real-world connections between today and U.S. History. My goal is for students to become engaged in history and see the impact they will have on our society someday.

I love the GREEN BAY PACKERS! I was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and moved to Austin in June 2015. I am a strong believer and follower in the belief of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness that everyone is entitled to achieve these three unalienable rights, but requires hard work, motivation, and dedication. One of my favorite quotes is "The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey not the destination." - William Arthur Ward. I have high expectations for my students because I believe everyone is truly capable of achieving their goals. I am most definitely a people person and look for the best in everyone.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, walks with my dogs, hiking, spending time by the pool/beach, time with my family and friends, poker, board games, movies and music!

I live in Hutto with my boyfriend, Eric and our two dogs, Colonel and Charlie.
