I am looking forward to my 5th year as a Carver Colt.  I began my career in PPCD as an instructional assistant for 4 years and served 1 year as a PPCD teacher before I moved to Kindergarten.

Family tradition took me to Abilene Christian University, which  I graduated from in 1996 with an Interior Design degree. I found my true passion years later, teaching kids. Teaching has been an amazing journey for myself and I am always looking forward to building relationships and learning more to share for the success of our children.  My credentials throughout the years of teaching are earning my Core Subjects Certification, (Early childhood-6th), Special Education (Early childhood-12th) and Gifted and Talented and English as a Second Language.

I am a native Texan and found myself in Austin after graduating college.  One of the many reasons I found myself in Austin is the local live music and all the outdoor activities to do with family and friends. I enjoy kayaking, yoga, meditation, hiking, cycling, pilates, coffee houses, music, sushi, starbucks, shopping (supporter of local businesses) or any sporting event. I am a HUGE sports fan, so if I am not working, you can catch me watching or going to any football, basketball, hockey, soccer, track and field or baseball game.
