Tish Ptomey serves the Cooper team as principal. Mrs. Ptomey has 10 years of experience in Texas public education. Her service to students includes teaching 4th grade math, reading, and social studies, ESL program coordinator, and after school program coordinator. After leaving the classroom, Mrs. Ptomey served as a high school counselor and a middle school counselor at Forbes MS and Wagner MS. She also served as the assistant principal at Forbes MS.
Mrs. Ptomey has a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Business Administrator from Tarleton State University and a Masters of Education in Leadership and Policies from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has begun the Doctoral program at Tarleton State University.
Mrs. Ptomey is excited to serve as principal at Cooper Elementary School. She is looking forward to building genuine relationships and finding creative ways to help support and empower students, staff, and parents.
Mrs. Ptomey and her husband, Craig, have 4 children and enjoy traveling and spending time together as a family.
