• Welcome to my page!  I'm hoping that this year will be a good one...even with the challenges that the Pandemic will send our way! Please reach out with any techonology or other school-related questions.

The 2020/21 school year will be my second year at Purl Elementary teaching 4th grade language arts and social studies. Once again I'll be team teaching with Mrs. Brandon who will have the students for math and science. This will be my seventh year teaching an upper elementary grade in Texas.

    A little about me...

I have two grown-up daughters, Emma who is a working actress in Chicago, and Lauren, a model and photographer in Austin. I've been married to Dave, a fellow Brit, for 20 years.  We all arrived Stateside in 2001, making Pittsburgh PA and the cold winters there our home for 5 years, before moving to Austin in 2006. As empty-nesters, Dave and I fell in love with the Old Town district of Georgetown and are enjoying renovating and remodeling the 1930s house that we bought.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, knitting, reading, going to the theatre (stage and screen), hanging out with my three very spoiled house rabbits, Delilah, Baxter, and Alfie, and traveling. An RV is the next item on my wishlist!

I'm looking forward to working as a team with you and your child this year.
