  • Ms. Kiely is a native of Wyoming, where she received her degree in Elementary Education with a middle school endorsement and an emphasis in cultural diversity from the University of Wyoming.  She began her teaching degree at an elementary classical school in Fort Collins, Colorado where she taught in a self-contained third grade and fourth grade classroom for ten years before moving.  Ms. Kiely started her Texas teaching career in Killeen where she taught fifth grade science and then fourth grade as a reading, writing, and social studies teacher.  She transferred to Georgetown ISD to teach reading and writing at Tippit Middle School for two years.  She then returned to a classical elementary school as a third-grade self-contained teacher for the last four years in Leander, Texas.  After multiple years of teaching as a general education teacher, she began her first year as one of Pickett’s Integrated Learning Classrooms (ILC) Teachers.  She currently holds a Texas Educator Certificate for Special Education grades Early Childhood-12th grade, a Generalist for grades 4th-8th, a Generalist for Early Childhood -6th grade, and an English as a Second Language Certificate for Grades Early Childhood-12th grade.  She resides in Georgetown with her family and has one son who attends middle school at GISD.  She is extremely excited to be part of the Pickett Elementary team.  Ms. Kiely enjoys reading, fishing, traveling, and good humor.
