Teegan Torres

Hi! I am Teegan Torres and I am the new music teacher at McCoy. I’m THRILLED to be at this school, and I can’t wait to meet all of you. I am married to Ray Torres and we live in East Austin together. I absolutely LOVE our area of town! I have two adorable dogs, Hazel and Grylls, and they are my babies. I just finished my 13th year of teaching elementary music. I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in music education. I am a self-proclaimed choir nerd and I love to connect with students through all types of music.

My goal is to give our scholars a positive experience in my room and to teach them a genuine love and appreciation of music. We will sing, play, create, and more, and I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with everyone at McCoy.
