Newline Interactive Displays
From fall 2017 to spring 2019, Newline Interactive Displays were piloted at select locations across the district as replacements for aging projection systems in GISD classrooms. It was found that the displays provided flexibility in classrooms for teaching and learning. They are mobile and can be used for whole or small group instruction or in learning centers depending on the needs of the moment. Each Newline display also includes an onboard Chrome-based computer, which allows internet-connected use of the display without the need to attach an external Chromebook or laptop.
By the end of the fall of 2019, every classroom in GISD will have a Newline interactive display. Below are links to frequently asked questions and instructions for using the displays based on your campus.
