Hali Garrett, LMSW is a therapist with Intervention Services, and serves two middle school campuses in the Georgetown Independent School District. Originally from the Midwest, she graduated with degrees in fine art and English from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. For the past ten years, she has worked with children, adolescents, and families in school settings and earned a certificate in Child Development prior to moving to Texas to study clinical social work. Hali graduated in 2014 with a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Her focus with clinical therapy is to help students who struggle with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and attachment, and her therapeutic style warmly imparts positive regard and non-judgmental acceptance, meeting students where they are, so they can find balance and wellness in their lives. She enjoys making collages, brewing blends of tea, playing percussion, and dreams of someday illustrating a children’s picture book.
