Scholarship Overview
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), and McDonald’s are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Sixty Three (63) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship up to $15,000 for the 2023-2024 academic school year ($7,500 per semester), which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior attending HBCU during the 2023-2024 academic school year.
- Current cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or higher.
- Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
- Able to demonstrate a financial need.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.

March 31, 2023 Home Depot Path to Pro Scholarship
- Plan to enroll, or be enrolled, in an approved trade-related program at an accredited two-year school (technical/vocational school or college) in the United States.
- Not be an employee or dependent of an employee of the The Home Depot. Employees of The Home Depot and their dependents are eligible to apply for a scholarship from The Homer Fund.

March 31, 2023: Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship
Applicants to the Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship Program must meet all the following eligibility requirements. Applicants must:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time or part-time (minimum 6 credit hours) at one of the following types of accredited institutions: vocational-technical school, trade school, two-year community college, or state college.
- Be pursuing an associate’s degree, credit-bearing certificate, or an industry-recognized credential, in one of the fields of study below, with an anticipated completion date no earlier than December 2023 and no later than June 2026.
