Skyward 2020-2021 Commitment Form Instructions
Georgetown ISD will be offering families a choice of remote learning or in-person learning for the 2020-2021 school year. Preferences for remote or on-campus learning may be changed up to 2 weeks prior to the start of each grading period. If you do not provide a choice for the next nine weeks, we will assume your student is continuing with the learning choice you made already.Who Needs to Complete the 2020-2021 Commitment Form?The commitment form can be completed by any parent with a Skyward Family Access account.When is the commitment form available for changes?The commitment form can be updated during the following dates for the 2020-2021 school year:2nd Nine Weeks - 10/19/20 - 12/18/20
The window to make changes for the 2nd nine weeks is available from 9/21/20 to 10/4/20.3rd Nine Weeks - 1/5/20 - 3/16/21
The window to make changes for the 3rd nine weeks is available from 11/30 - 12/6/20.4th Nine Weeks - 3/29/21 - 5/28/21The window to make changes for the 4th nine weeks will be available from 3/1 - 3/15/21.
Step 1: Log Into Skyward Family AccessTo access the 2020-2021 Commitment Form, log into your Family Access account. Parents of returning students already have Skyward Family Access accounts. If your student is new to the district and has already been enrolled, you can also complete the form using your new Skyward Family Access account. Click here for instructions for how to access your account.
Step 2: Click on the Online Form link
The commitment form is available as a link directly on your home page in Skyward Family Access. For parents of returning students who have not yet completed 2020-2021 Returning Student Registration, it is also available in Step 1 of the Returning Student Registration process step. Update and submit the form in either location. Click on the link that says "Fill Out Online Form" to begin.Step 3: Review the Commitment Form InformationOn the first page, you will see some information about the start of the 2020-2021 school year. Click the Next button to continue.Step 4: Answer the Commitment Form QuestionsAnswer the 4 questions on the form. You may have to scroll down the page to see all of the questions. Click button at the very bottom of the page to Complete Step 1 and move to Step 2 when you are done answering the questions.Step 5: Click to Submit the FormOn the last page, click the button to submit the form. You can then return to the home page to complete the form for other students in your account.Optional: How to Change Your Answers After Submitting the FormIf you change your mind about the method of instruction that works best for your student and family before the window for changes closes, you can change your answers and resubmit the form as follows:

- On the left hand side of the Family Access page, click the button that says Online Forms.
- Locate the 20-21 Commitment Form and click the link that says View.
- When the form opens, locate the link at the top right of the screen that says "Mark as not completed and make changes."
- Next, click on Step 1 - 20-21 Commitment Form.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the form and click the Edit Step 1 button to make the form editable again.
- You can then edit your answers, and click the button of the page to complete step 1 and move to step 2 to save the changes.
- Click Submit 20-21 Commitment Form when done on the Step 2 page.
