    About Mrs. Chavez 

    Mrs. Chavez's Picture Hello everyone! I am Amanda Chavez and I teach Pre-K at Williams Elementary. I have been teaching Pre-K for 9 years. 

    I graduated from Texas State University in 2013 with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently getting my Master's at the University of Texas - Austin (Hook Em') in Early Childhood Education.  

    I enjoy spending time with my family, watching UT football games, and loving on my sweet fur babies (2 goats and a dog). 

    I love all things Pre-K (learning through play), social/emotional learning, coffee, pandas, avocados, and being a William's Roadrunner!
