Welcome to Mrs. Garcia's Kindergarten Class!

About me: My name is Shelby Garcia. I have a wonderful family at home with my husband. We have three boys, a 6 year old and twin 2 year olds. We live in Hutto but I am originally from Austin. This is my third year at Mitchell and I am so thankful to be working here. I am super excited for this year in Kindergarten and to be teaching your children!

Education: I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Forensic Psychology. My plan had been to be a police officer but after working with children I found my real passion. My teaching certification is EC-6.
